Mission Trips for High School Youth who have completed grades 9-12 are planned each year to rural, urban and international sites of Christian community and human need. This year the youth went to Chicago, June 15 - 20.  They stayed at Edgewater Presbyterian Church, a multicultural church reflecting the Edgewater neighborhood. The youth spent time working in the ministries of  downtown Chicago. They provided a helping hand in the The Enterprising Kitchen which provides employment opportunities and life skills to women who are working towards self-sufficiency and independence; and The Greater Chicago Food Repository which works to feed hungry people through soup kitchens, shelters and food pantries.
