The Reverend Dr. Joseph Ward, Senior Pastor

Rev. Ward has been Senior Pastor of West Raleigh Presbyterian since 1991, having served congregations in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and Oxford, Indiana. A graduate of Bethany College, he earned his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Christian Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) from Princeton Theological Seminary. He has served on Presbytery Council and on the Governing Board of the North Carolina Council of Churches.

Joe is married to Susan (Petitjean) Ward of Fairfield, Connecticut. They have three sons and one daughter.
