Tom Lohr, Director of Music

Tom L. Lohr has served at West Raleigh since November of 1995. He came to Raleigh in the fall of 1979 to begin a teaching position at Meredith College. Since then he has taught piano, composition, music appreciation, advanced music theory seminars, choral arranging and an interdisciplinary course combining the study of the visual arts and music. As a teacher, Tom has enjoyed working with students of all ages (5 to 82) and abilities.

Tom and his wife, Susan, have twin sons, Evan and Matthew. They are members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
