Reverend Moffett Churn, Associate Pastor

Since her ordination in 1977, Moffett has served churches in North Carolina, Virginia, and Massachusetts. She earned her Master of Arts in Christian Education from PSCE and her Master of Divinity from Union Seminary in Richmond, VA, where she served as the first Dean of Students/Dean of the Chapel. Prior to joining the staff of WRPC in 2007, Moffett and husband Ted were Co-Pastors of Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Easton, MA, a multicultural congregation they organized in 1990. A lifelong practitioner of the arts, Moffett founded Stage Door Theatre Workshops in 1995 as a way to wed dramatic art and ministry.

  

Moffett and Ted are the parents of Katie, who is the Director of Youth Ministries at the Ashland Presbyterian Church in Cockeysville, MD, and Todd, who is studying animation at the Art Institute of Washington, DC.
