"One Light"
Written by Bruce Fawcett, WRPC Member
When your pillow's made of stone
When you're travelling far from home
When there's nowhere left to turn
And your bridges have all been burned
In the darkest night one light shines bright.
When you're sure you're near the end
And your left without a friend
If you cannot sing a song
And your rights have all been wronged
In the darkest night one light shines bright
No matter who you are or where you be
That light it shines on you and me.
And the light it shines forever and it shines forever true
I know in my heart there's a part for you... and you...
And when you're walking in the sun
And your working day is done.
If your family is close at hand
And you fear no man
When it works out right, God's light shines bright
No matter where you are or who you be
That light it shines on you and me.
And the light it shines forever and it shines forever free
I know in my heart there's a part for me
In the end the light we'll see
And the light that sets us free
On a distant shore where time will be no more
After the final night one light shines bright
If it works out right one light shines bright
In the darkest night one light shines bright.
