Hearts With Haiti






Hearts with Haiti is a non-profit organization which supports the mission of St. Joseph’s Family in Haiti through Nurture, Advocacy, Fundraising, Administration, and Leadership Development.  Hearts with Haiti has an office at WRPC on the second floor. With the help of Hearts with Haiti, WRPC hopes to deepen its relationship with the St. Joseph’s Family.  To learn more about Hearts with Haiti, click here.

On behalf of Hearts with Haiti, I want to thank those of you who came to write letters on behalf of The Belinda Project this past Sunday.
For those of you who wanted to get by but couldn’t, it is not too late to write a letter in support!
Who is Belinda?  Belinda was a child resident of Wings of Hope, part of The St. Joseph Family in Haiti, who died on September 15, 2011.   Belinda’s tragic death was at the hands of a Haitian healthcare System that  fails to provide equal access to individuals with physical and mental disabilities.
In response, the St. Joseph Family has launched The Belinda Project to improve the way children with mental and physical challenges are treated in Haiti and to honor Belinda's spirit.  This effort will aim to educate and change attitudes of individuals and institutions who can make a difference in their lives.
