Children in Education
At WRPC, caring and dedicated teachers strive to make Sunday School a place where each child feels the love of Jesus. Intentional Biblical education takes place during Sunday School, Super Summer Sundays, and other church-wide seasonal experiences during Advent and Lent.
- Sunday School - West Raleigh is pleased to use the lectionary-based curriculum, Seasons of the Spirit. This program enables us to connect education to worship, mission, and life at home. See www.spiritseasons.com to learn more about this exciting program.
- Super Summer Sundays - WRPC offers an exciting, experiential program for all ages throughout the summer. In 2009, we entered the "Bible Discovery Jungle" to explore stories of the Bible through DVD, computer programs, and various whole-body experiences. In 2008, we discovered how God Calls Us... Around the World! Past programs have focused on the parables (Majestic Mystery Treehouse), life in Bible times (Marketplace – 29 AD), and Divine Inspiration, a program exploring the connection between the arts and spirituality.
